Not only did those assholes fucked up the DL patch and all the future releases of DL patches but all the new games the team wanted to translate. The fact that some random dudes who probably don’t even know what DL is came here and ruined all the work and don’t even feel sorry about it is so ? Because piracy is a huge thing that is seriously damaging the industry in Japan. Especially if we want them to continue allowing official translations of their games. And the only thing they asked for was to show proof that you had purchased the DL game? Why you ask? Because we need to support otoge making companies like Rejet if we want them to continue making games.
To get together a team of over 30 people to work on a patch for a year. To get familiar with the game you’re translating because hell boy, Diabolik Lovers is a hard to translate franchise.

Before you come and fuck up someone’s work because “it should be free uwu” I’d dare you to learn Japanese first. And there’s also the fact of HOW TIME CONSUMING IT IS.īecause yeah. None of the games are completely translated either. A single line can be translated in a million of different ways. It’s not a direct translation, as is it a completely different language to English. Translating in something extremely personal, and I can base this on my own experience. And before some idiot comes here and tells me “but u can find dl translations online”. They translated THE ENTIRE GAME (except for very few scenes that they asked some other translators to do). Which is what these awesome guys did for us. Otome are dating sims games targeted at a female audience. I know that the people, the crew of idiots who ruined this for us, don’t know a shit of otome so I’ll just give a fast history class. They recruited a whole group of translators, proof readers, hackers and everything to release a patch for a game that’s not even well known over seas FOR FREE. What the otogetranslations team did was first of all amazing.
At those who fucked up the DL HDB patch, the MB project and all the upcoming projects, hear me up for a second. So you know what goes under the cutįirst of all what the fuck is wrong with people? Thinking they can pull this “uwu see how good I am by releasing their patch” and ruin a year worth of work? HELLO? I’m so extremely mad about what happened with the DL patch and everyone who worked on the project.
